Megaminx is not a rubiks product so they won't sell it.  There are several megaminxes out there.  Some are rubbish and pop all the time.  The one I use I got from www.puzl.co.uk (they do ship internationally).  That one is great and it's the one I use in my megaminx tutorial.  Let me know if you want a link.

They're made by some other company, try ebay.

But if the megaminx was made by another company,

then why do other companies make the rubik's cube if it's originally made by Rubik's?

rubiks cubes were made in hungary and no-one thought they'd ever be worth enough to bother applying for a patent until the market was flooded with knock-offs, by which time the type of puzzle had become un-copywritable.

a lot of cubes are made in countries that wouldn't uphold any western patent anyway - like china (cube4you are based in hong kong)
