Hi, my name is Scott Bedard and I've been building puzzles for a while. But it's not just me who's doing this, a number of other extraordinarily talented minds are hard at work making different puzzles. Here are some of the best in my opinion, and I would love to see some of these get a production run. Currently, Rubik's competitor UWE Meffert is starting to give some of these customs a production run. I think Rubik's needs to talk with the inventors of these puzzles before it's too late and they get beaten to it. Slim Tower (aka: 2x2x3) This puzzle is created by taking the core of a 3x3x3 keychain, and overlapping some pieces with regular 3x3 parts.
Trajber's Octahedron This is a cleverly disguised 3x3x3.
Super-X This puzzle works like a 2x2x2, and a Dino Cube. Meaning it also turns on all 8 corners.
Void Cube In my opinion the most ingenius puzzle ever made. Since a Rubik's Cube is held together entirely by the core, the idea to remove the core is just stunning. This puzzle also is slightly harder then a Rubik's Cube.
