While I agree that it's a disgrace that it isn't in the shop, I've gotta say that the mirror blocks isn't really any trickier to solve than a normal 3x3. Sure it takes a little longer because of the shape getting in the way of finger tricks, but that's it.
I've got 3 of them. I got a real one from the guy who designed it (no not Rubik himself - Hidetoshi Takeji) in Japan. He can be contacted through the Twisty Puzzles forum and he's a really nice guy.
The other two are better for cubing, believe it or not. My real one locks and is stiff to turn.
I also have a black & white one from puzl.co.uk that cost me £10.99 plus about £2 p&p. That's the best one I have. I also got a cheap one in official colours from ebay for about £5. I paid for that one with free cash from these people:
