What is the best method to learing F2L?

Postby Marcel1998 » Thu Nov 07, 2013 4:11 am

Hi! So I just started cubing about three weeks ago and my average with the beginners method is around 2 minutes using finger tricks. Now I have been learning F2L and I can do it pretty well, but my issue is that not only am I slow but there are so many algorithms for each situation that would help but I don't know how to learn them all. So how would you recommend I learn F2L? My friend recently made a journal with all the situations and I was thinking about doing the same but I'm not sure. Oh, and I just got my Zhanchi today. Thanks for reading!

Learn intuitive F2L. With intuitive F2L, you don't use algorithms for the situations. (Situations are commonly called cases). You solve the cases based on a system.

You can learn it from the following videos.
Rubik's Cube: Fridrich F2L explained (PART 1/2)
Rubik's Cube: Fridrich F2L explained (PART 2/2)
Watch both videos until the end. The examples demonstrate important information.
