The fewest is more difficult but nobody dares to say

The record is 27 moves or something, isn't it?

That record has been broken by a man with 22 moves. This is actually the upper bound of god's algorithm. There's a huge discussion on this as there's a chance that this record might never be broken.

Personally, I find speed accomplishments and fewest move accomplishments to both be very impressive.

Speed maybe a combination of fewest moves (sometimes referred to as luck), and fast fingers...or just fast fingers (In the case of Yu), OR just few moves (in the case of some of Erik's solves - Yu moves faster).
But actually solving in a set of moves un-governed by a layers or some other basic-logic method is more amazing; but is what computers do. HUMAN fewest move records are truly incredible.
...And 22 moves...!
