Getting Faster??

hello everyone, i had a question, i wanted some advice as to getting faster, i currently solve the rubik's cube doing the layer by layer method and can solve in 1:06, can somebody give me some some advice as to which method would be better to solve faster. thankyou

go to http://www.cubewhiz.com/ and click on oll and pll algs this is called the fridrich method it is much faster than the beginners method

if you have not already lubricated your rubik's cube then do so because it makes moving layers on the
cube much faster. also try to connect the hand movements necessary to solve the cube. the
fredrich method i have found, takes a lot of time memorizing algorithms. the fredrich method
is one of the fastest ways of solving the rubik's cube.
