Good algorythms go get speed at the beggining?

Postby Sniperfreak » Sun Dec 05, 2010 3:15 pm

Hi there, i'm new to this, i bought my 3x3x3 cube 3 days ago, i learned, basic, solving by layers, but its so slow and needs so many movements, my best time is 3 minutes (i think it isn't but at all, as i only have since 3 days ago...).
Anyway , I know that are so many algorythms, what do you think is the best to get improved you speedcubing hability at the beggining? My goal is to get 1 min aprox. And if then i want to continue, i'll invest, but now i'm only interested in learn more speedy algorythms.

Sorry about my limitated english.

Thanks for reading.

That's part 1 of a fridrich f2l tutorial. If it works for you, I'm sure you can find part 2.

You're welcome. If it works for you, I suggest looking at 2-look OLL and 2-look PLL algs after that. Youtube has a ton of them, and I've done a tutorial vid or 2 on them as well. Let me know if you want the link in the future.

I get 1:10 or so with the beginner layer method. Just break in your cube real well and lube it!
Why should we only do a dollop of Daisy? Why not three?!?
