Solving a Rubik's cube blindfolded involves using different methods than you would for sighted solving. If you use CFOP for regular solving, you don't use that method for blindsolving. You wouldn't memorize how to solve the cross, F2L, OLL, and PLL while following where the pieces go.

A good method to start with is Classic Pochmann. The method involves solving one piece at a time. This page has a written tutorial. That page basically doesn't cover memorization with the method. So, go to this page for information on how to do it; there are different memorization methods.
