Is a V-Cube a good speed cube?

I want to get a v-cube, but i want to know if it is easy to use, and if it is a speed cube.

It used to be, but not anymore.
Shengshou cubes are a lot better--they're cheaper AND are adjustable, and from what I've read take a lot less months to break in (2 years less maybe?).
They're not pillowed though.
