Quick beginners question

Postby PudgyPachyderm » Mon Jan 25, 2010 8:45 am

Hey all, first time post here with a simple question.  I just wanted to make sure I have the terminology down.  I learned to solve using the Tyson Mao video located here:

Is this what is called the beginners method or is there a different variation that is the technical 'beginners' method that folks talk about?  Thanks.

I cant watch the video but... there are very different versions of the 'beginners'' method

The Beginners' method is most known as the method Dan Brown has made a tutorial on, the method thats on the paper that comes with store cubes.

The second famous one is badmephisto's beginners' method, a similiar but different in some ways.

My beginners' method is the store cube beginners' method with some of my own algorithms (such as R U R' U' reversed.)
