Odd Cube

Postby Adam N. H. » Fri Mar 12, 2010 11:34 am

I have this old polaroid rubik's cube, i got it from a job at Popular Photography, it has words instead of colors on it, is there another way to solve a cube with words that different then normal cubes?

No, it is dealt with precisely the same as though it were color.  Just make things of similarity be on the same plane.

I thought the one sole difference between solid color cubes and picture cubes is that it is possible to have an odd parity case where the middle fixed point doesn't line up correctly with the rest of the cube. I wouldn't know, I have never done a picture cube, but I thought I recalled people having that problem while scanning the forums over the years.
