Fav algrythms for a 3x3

Ri Di R D is a great algrythm to fool your friends! Just solve the cube and do the Ri Di R D 6 times, and the cube will be solved again. That is only 24 moves! What's your fav's? ;) :) :D

Y-Perm. It's used in the penultimate stage of 2-look OLL and 2-look PLL and helps when you need 2 diagonal corners swapping.

F RU'R'U' RUR'F' RUR'U' R'F'RF

This is what it swaps and how it got the name...

The alg looks complex, but is based around RUR'U' which is a commonly used alg.

Here are two algorithms that I like.

T-Perm

R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F'
I like this one because it's not hard to do and I can do it quickly.

Z-Perm

U R' U' R U' R U R U' R' U R U R2 U' R' U
I like this one because I can do it quickly and because it only uses two layers, R and U.

I do z-perm like this:

M2 U M2 U M U2 M2 U2 M U2

Easy to help remember ...

M2 U

M2 U

M U2

M2 U2

M U2

Look at it that way, and 1st and 2nd part are the same. As are 3rd and 5th. Makes memorising easy.

Another funny thing about it is that I can never remember which is M and M'. This alg works as long as you use the same M all the way through, regardless of which way you turn the slice.

That's definitely shorter than the one I currently use. I'm not very good at doing M/M'/M2 turns, but I'll see how quickly I can do it. That will probably become my new Z-perm algorithm. Thanks!

M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2 (H-Perm) is the same way. U can be used instead of U' and it does the same thing.

U M U2 M U2 M U' + (M2) + U M U2 M U2 M U'

On 4 edge :)

Fun and easy 1+M2+1

URU'R' x6
R2U2RU2R2U2R2U2RU2R2 you have to grip the cube in a special way for awesomeness
basically 2-gen
lol, here to help ^_~
