Not every 4x4 is the same. What brand of 4x4 is it? Rubiks, Eastsheen, QJ, Maru...?

Here's the step's in assembling a 4 x 4 cube.

1. Glue any broken pieces into their original shape. When the glue is dry, use a fine grade file to smooth any rough surfaces or bumps. Clean all the parts and lubricate with silicone. Watch a video demonstration of the assembly.
2. Find the four pieces with only one white colored surface. Hook and slide them into the central positions on one side of the spherical core. Turn this side to the bottom so that the core sits on top of the white faces.
3. Find the four pieces with only one green colored surface. Hook and slide them into the central positions on the side of the core facing south (as viewed from above). Find the single-sided blue pieces and slide them into the central position on the opposite side of the core that faces north (as viewed from above).
4. Find the four single-sided yellow pieces and slide them into place on the top side of the core. Find the two pieces with yellow and green surfaces and assemble them in the central lower portion of the top edge. Find the two pieces with yellow and blue surfaces and assemble them in the upper central portion of the top edge.
5. Find the four single-sided red pieces and slide them into place on the side of the core facing east (as viewed from above). Find the two pieces with red and white surfaces and assemble them in the central lower portion of the red side. Find the two pieces with red and yellow surfaces and assemble them in the upper central portion of the red side. Find the four corner pieces that have red surfaces and place them in the appropriate positions on the red side to maintain one color on each side of the cube. Insert the two pieces with red and green surfaces into the edge bordering the red and green sides. Insert the two pieces with red and blue surfaces into the edge bordering the red and blue sides.
6. Find the single-sided orange pieces and slide them into place on the side of the core facing west (as viewed from above). Find the two pieces with orange and white surfaces and assemble them in the central lower portion of the orange side. Find the two pieces with orange and yellow surfaces and assemble them in the upper central portion of the orange side. Find the four remaining corner pieces that have orange surfaces and place them in the appropriate positions on the orange side to maintain one color on each side of the cube. Insert the two pieces with orange and green surfaces into the edge bordering the orange and green sides. Insert the two pieces with orange and blue surfaces into the edge bordering the orange and blue sides. Spin the sides to make sure the cube operates freely.
