Question on 3x3 Method

Postby riaan.ct » Tue May 03, 2011 5:18 pm

Hello everyone. I am a newbie, so please excuse if my questions is silly... And if anyone can help me it will be very much appreciated.
I do the 3x3 cube also layer by layer. When I get to the last layer, I turn the cube around so that my last layer, (The scrambled one) is at the bottom.
I then first correct my corners and lastly, I correct my edges on my bottom layer to solve the cube. I'm not fast at all, I have a average of 50-55 seconds.
Is there ANYONE that also solves the 3x3 like I do?? I need to know if there is more algorithms than the 2 I know to solve it....

Which 2 algorithms do you use to solve it?

is this your method?

I don't think that's the right one. The way the method is described, the last layer is placed on the bottom, not the top.

The first solution given here solve the cube layer by layer. The last layer is solved on the bottom, and more than two algorithms are given to do this. In Phases 4-5 of this method, the corners are placed correctly then twisted correctly. Phases 6-7, the edges are placed correctly then flipped correctly.
