Dayan makes a lot of stickerless (colored) sets, and I really want one. Why arent they allowed in the wca? I already have a Zhan Chi and I can't decide between a stickerless Guhong or a stickerless Lin Yun. I do not own either of these cubes and have no experience with them. Which one should I get? :?:

From what I've heard, it's down to being able to see more of the cube at once while solving. They say it gives someone an edge that is unfair.

I personally can't see it being useful, but they say it is. So cubes that have no stickers are banned.

Because theoretically you can see more than you can on a normal cube. I think they're just keeping it strict so that if that one cube passes through you get a million other questions asking whether "insert cube" is allowed.
Also, I see that borginator is first-replier now. I lost my title XD
