The reason I was looking 4 a way 2 flip 1 middle layer edge piece is because when I'm solving the middle layer the last edge piece I want 2 solve is flipped. your algorithm wouldn't work 4 me because when I'd flipped the one that needed flipping another 1 would b flipped.

i know what you mean
i get in that situation alot
and the fastest way to fix it is to pull down the top layer, then apply the edge flip,
then restore it and the piece is flipped

Ok... I just put a piece from the top into it, and put it back in the right way. You might have already said that, but I didn't have time to read it all.

That is the bombdiggitiest (yes i can say that word, and no you can't) algorithm ever for that situation. if you see a 'w' that means you do that turn with 2 layers. a.k.a 'r'.
