Hi guys. Had a cube when I was about 7 (when the craze first hit the UK) and never managed to solve more than a side.
My parents bought me a cube from Ireland with these 'Wacky Woolies' (cartoon sheep) on each face. My daughter mixed it up and my wife (who now regrets it) says that I should learn to solve it.
2 weeks later, I can solve it (I know - you probably learned in 10 mins, but give us codgers some points for effort!).
I'm not brilliant. I still need a good 5 or 10 mins, but I'm sure I'll get better.
I use a layer method, finishing with place the corners, rotate them and then fix the edges of the last layer.
What I want to know is how to solve the sheep. They're all done except the centres and every guide I get uses unfamiliar terms.
I use UDLRFB and U'D'L'R'F'B' for my faces and directions. Anything else just throws me.
I'm sure that'll change with time, but for the moment, can anyone assist with those centres?
