Side Sliding Problem

Postby JordanJammer » Sat Jan 03, 2009 7:22 am

Hey, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right spot or not, so please don't yell at me. I have a problem with my rubik's cube. I recently bought it and when I took it out of the package, the sides were really hard to turn. My friend has a rubik's cube too and his turns nice and smooth, so I know my cube isn't suppose to  be like that. Can anyone help me in making my rubik's cube sides slide easier?

Yes of course, my cube has the problem, but seeing videos it brings over of the problem.

The video shows that the problem is solved if you lubricate your cube with vaseline.

In the new rubik's cube what you have to do is to give him a few moved ones to the cube and to lubricate it i have said to you.

I hope that my information you is useful.

Do NOT use vaseline.  Use silicone spray.  Vaseline rots away the inside of your cube.
Please take off topic discussion off this forum. Thanks.

My cube was pretty tight when I first got it too.  But then I kept playing with it and it loosened up. I think it's a new cube thing.
