It is funny, the first time I saw that video I didn't read the description saying it was a fake 9x9x9, I just figured the guy was super smart and made his own cube. I was assuming it was super unstable since it was a cube and not warped like the Verdes design, and that you would have to just slowly and carefully solve it so as not to break it. There are no 9x9x9s being manufactured currently. I can't wait until Verdes finally puts some out.

To those who think the 9x9x9 would be so hard, not really, once you figure out how to solve the final two centers, you can pretty much solve any size cube when you have the knowledge necessary to solve the 5x5x5.

yea it would be unstable...and haha making a cube doesn't make you intelligent... making a cube that's stable and that turns well makes you smart ;) and yea i can't wait either.... and even the final 2 centers are easy.. the only problem with the 7x7 and up are that they're incredibly time consuming.

Yeah, it takes me longer to solve the centres on the 5x5x5 than to solve the edges...

my typical breakdown as of now...
centers= ~1 minute
edge pairing= ~1.5 minute
3x3 solve (3x3 is always slower on a bigger cube)= ~45-50 seconds..

Nice, what cube is this with? I got the 4x4x4 centres in 25 seconds once. :)
