After looking over numerous posts/videos to help speed up my solution times, I've found that my LBL method is 'upside down' based on typical solutions...I also solve sections in a different order.  In other words, it seems I've customized the LBL solution to what suits me (typical) with pretty good results...  Of course, now I'm struggling to learn alternative methods and since mine is so 'backwards'. 


*sigh*


I should also clarify that I've never lubed any cubes I've owned...so that's my next step.  Hopefully I'll be able to average sub-minute solutions soon.  :-)


I wish I had known how supportive this community was sooner.  Thanks for all the help and ideas.  They have helped to challenge me to get better.

My best time is 1 min and 54 sec. I've only been cubing for 12 days and wonder how


you guys can solve the cube in under one min. how long do you practice????

serioulsy kid, you cannot. Post a video of your self doing it then, and people that can do it in 10 seconds dont hang around in these sites

jc-berger, when you said to the people that can do it in uder 1 min how much do you practice. I actually practice ALOT. 2-3 hours a day, yeah i kno i am rediculouse, i average around 45 seconds and have been cubing for around 2 months.
