@9244tony
There are cubes which are painted available. These are Dianshengs. The paint doesn't peel or fade...but it does chip and crack.  (http://www.cube4you.com/product-569.html)
If you want infallible colouration cubesmith tiles are as good as it gets. (http://cubesmith.com/Tiles.htm)
As for the rumour that Rubik's is coming out with painted cubes...It seems unlikely but it could happen.
Hope this helped!

Ha ha ha that's great.. I am old school because I will be 36 years old in Feb. and I remember the launch of the Rubik's Cube back in the day when nobody could solve it.

I love watching these forums. Most people are trying to sell you something or are telling you that they are faster than you.

I post the most basic topics like.. 'Where in the world are you from' and it escalates from there.

We are all bound together by a little cube that we all solve with different methods and at different times.

I like how you say we are all bound together by the little cube... thats another cubing quote that shall be in history along with 'Respect the nerds, you'll work for one.'

I liked your post Tony.

It is better to swap info and enjoy what we have in common instead of being all competitive. If you practice hard and learn some good methods and that results in some good times, we are happy to hear it an enjoy seeing how good your times are. But if you get all arrogant about it and start calling everyone slow, it ruins the respect we may have had for your accomplishment.

Well imagine having to feel that dry and hard paint when you touch a rubiks cube. I wouldnt want that. I like the way the stickers feel on the rubiks cube but if there is a way to make the paint feel the same way as the stickers do then i would buy one.

Well I think they are trying to but they can't find a paint that feels like the stickers I mean if they made paint that feels like the stickers i bet they would but I don't think those have been invented yet though.
