I never had the bottle to scramble it!  I did a checkerboard, thats it.  Any more and I'd have to consider the possibility that I'd need to disassemble to solve.  If it was a 3x3, no problem, but those eastsheens are a pig to reassemble.  I built it because I could, not as a puzzle to solve.  Those puzzles I am only starting to make now.

As for the pattern, it'll be harder than you think.  Remember, it's hand made, so edges that appear similar are very easy to mix up and might not quite line up when mixed.  This makes for a far harder solve.

Thanks.  Latest mod is a 2x3x3 made from a 3x3x3.  Check out the pics in the cube  mod section of my forum (link near my avatar).
