I am still using the beginners method, but i'm starting to try f2l. OLL and PLL seem really hard to memorize

Look for patterns or use muscle memory, it'll help.

Thanks. i thought that I was really slow cuz I have a friend that can do it in 37 seconds

Mine is 23.73 Secs (Lucky OLL+PLL Skip), my average is around 35-40.

Wait, then why don't you lube it with silicone spray? It's only a few bucks per can =P

My best's 26 seconds for non-lucky. Average usually about 35.

I use F2l, 2-Look OLL, busy learning 1-Look OLL (got two or three cases left to learn-fortunately I can learn one algorithim a day). Those times aren't bad considering my (now well-broken-in) rubsux brand cube.
