Biggest good cube for 160$

Postby Aalsen » Sat Dec 29, 2012 4:41 pm

Hi!
I have Shengshou 6 and 7x7 cubes, and im very satisfied by the cubes. Its much better than the rubriks cubes, and people say they are better then the V-cubes.

However, i want a large cube, but not too large for a regular grown up hand to hold.

What is the biggest cube you can buy from a store? (internetstore)

The cubicle only holds Shengshou 9x9 cubes as the biggest.
I was thinking more like 11,12 or 13x13 or somehting.. I want a cube that is nice to turn, like the stock Shengshou cubes. I dont want a crappy cube.

So, how big cube can i get for $160, and what brand?

Sincerely

Aalsen

As far as I know the biggest is 17x17, but I think it's way over your budget (over $2000). There are 11x11s and 9x9s. I think there are even 8x8s out there, but I couldn't link you to a rival store. You'll just have to use google, I'm afraid.

4x4 to 9x9: shengshou
11: yj, not sure if it's good or not
17: Oskar, but it's really expensive and hard to turn

Have fun solving it!
It might be a bit big (as in can't easily do M turns)...so if you're using PLL and use the H perm and Z perm, you might want to memorize the R U algorithms for them as well.
