Rubiks Cube 2x2

I just got my Rubik's cube 2x2, my average is 18 seconds on my first day. is that good?

Not bad. What method?
Also, in a Toronto competition second round would be 5-6 secs and finals would be 3-4.
Have fun learning how to become faster at the 2x2x2 !

:D That's a great time for that kind of 2x2 cube. If your hitting 18 seconds using the a rubik's bran 2x2 Im sure you will get faster times using better 2x2 speed cubes like the WitTwo Type C, or the Dayan Zanchi 2x2. Dat bump.
I suggest learning a new method instead (OLL PLL, or even ortega) or using lookahead to improve the beginner's one.

I use ortega method and average about 11 seconds using a Rubik's brand cube. Of course i want a better one but i am currently unable to acquire the Dayan 2x2 I want. :P
