So, what's your current time and method? It's better if I know this first.
Also, have you tried searching online for tips such as lookahead?

I look at it for about ten minutes then i work it. Takes me an hour and a half to get it.

I mean how do you solve it? Do you start out with a cross, fill the corners, fill the middle edges, then finish the top layer? If so, you should search up a tutorial on lookahead. (You don't really need to learn CFOP at that speed)

Last night I got the cross in 4 minutes, better then my 15 minute average.I also got the white corners in 2 minutes! I always go for the white cross first.

I guess that was lookahead on the white cross and the corners.

Yeah, I suggest that you solve your cube several more times. The first few times are always the slowest.
Also, what do you do after you finish the corners?
http://youtu.be/Alz5t_OR47I?t=15s It looks like this is your method. Also, lookahead means to look for another piece while solving one so that there are no pauses in between performing the algorithm and finding the next piece. (Multitasking)
