Son's cube fell to floor, squares fell off,how to fix ??

Postby Pastyann » Tue Oct 01, 2013 4:40 pm

The cube( it is a white one should that matter)
fell onto floor 3 squares fell off ..they are easily
put back on I just have to be sure that their place-
ment is not essential . I've NO clue how to solve it
So if an algorithm is needed to figure out their pro-
per placement , my goose is cooked !

Make sure that the cube is solved first before putting on the tiles. :3 I'm guessing it's a Meffert's cube with tiles?
Since the risk of putting in the tiles wrong isn't small (unless they're all center pieces, then you can directly put them back on. Tbh photos WILL help) if it can't be solved then it might as well be disassembled and reassembled, and there are YouTube tutorials for that.

I have NEVER solved a cube puzzle YET
That would not have saved my "goose"
That being said thank you for your reply
I left the broken thing in plain sight and the
Son saw it ! He knew just what to do as he,
himself has dropped it with the same result
Of course he can solve the thing in 3 minutes

Awesome. You can use super glue to glue the tile back on as regular school glue is too weak and short-lasting for a twisty puzzle.
