Speed cubes are all different and you can't really tell how a cube feels from how it "looks" The Shengshou Aurora is a great cube, it does an excellent job of accommodating a wide variety of cubers (rough turners, smooth turners) making it a great cube from beginners to pros, plus it's cheaper then other cubes. Other great cubes are Dayan Guhong, Zanchi, Fanghsi Shuan Ren and Moyu Huanying. Here's a helpful chart of all the great speed cubes.

My new best speedcubes are the new Rubik's speedcubes I got as a pre-release sample. I'm hoping they'll be available to buy soon, but I think they are awesome, and have replaced my Guhong II as my main speedcube. Thats how good they are.
