How Do I Decrease My Times?

Postby RubiksCubeNerd5 » Fri Dec 13, 2013 2:43 am

Hi fellow cubers!

I have an average time around 50 seconds and I'm wondering how to get faster. I HAVE lubricated my cube, I'm learning Fridrich's Method, and I try to use finger tricks as much as possible. Is there any other ways you guys know how to decrease my times (either slowly or rapidly)?

Thanks! :)
If (2x+5y)/8! = (7x)pi - 19y, am I a math geek?

This thread has a simple guide on what you can do. A general strategy is to not just do solves repeatedly. Find areas of your solving that you can improve on, and work on them. For example, you can look for a better way to solve an F2L case that you always have to do a lot of moves for.

Buy a Rubik's brand speedcube Once you get used to the looseness, you time will improve
Maybe I will fail. Hopefully not.
