original Erno style Rubik's cube (3x3x3)

Postby JasonD » Tue May 27, 2008 10:49 am

I have a friend who has a Rubik's cube that looks very much like the orginal design that Erno made, with the corners chopped off.  It was strange; at first I thought maybe the corners rotated, as well, but then I realized it was just an optical illusion, it's really just a regular ol' 3x3x3.

Here's Erno's design:

Now, imagine the corners cut off even more, so that the edges are somewhat chopped off, too.  That's the cube that I saw.

Does anyone know where to find one of these?
