My lowest time, so far, has been 45.34  Thats not the average of a few either thats the dead lowest.  I've been doing like badmephisto told me and kindof taking it slow and that seems to work.  If I get in a rush I wind up losing the possition of a piece and having to spend time looking around.

F2l does take your time down as promised!

You need to get used to it, be able to recognise it easily and perform fingertricks with a lubed cube!

I PROMISE ALL WHO PRACTISE THIS TECHNIQUE WILL BE UNDER 1 MIN  BY TWO MONTHS!!!  MAXIMUM

Does that only apply to those that memorize F2L algorithms, or do you see the same results for those that intuitively solve too?

Thanks to many folks here, I've finally found enough resourses to start working with F2L...  So far things are slow going, but with practice I can see where this method could be faster.

I am running into some troubles efficiently solving the cross quickly, though, since I'm used to solving corners first.  Does anyone have any tips for speeding up that process?

for the cross try not to do the thingwhere u put the edges at the bottom and then spin them around, thats slower

I like the F2L (if that's what it is...when you start with the 1x2x3 block and expand to a 2x2x3 block and then expand to the first two levels. Is this F2L or is it something else?)
