Yes, I could! I had a 3x3 for about a month and then someone stole it at school (I was doing it for a talent quest). My best time ever was around 1 minute and 44 sec. For me, that's pretty good, but compared to other people...

I HAVE GOTTEN UNDER TWO MINUTES EVERY TIME I SPEEDCUBE FOR THE LAST 5 MONTHS INFACT MY BEST IS 40 SECS

There is an intuitive method that starts out solving a 2x2x3 l;block and expanding that to two layers, then the lastone. My avg time using it is right at 1 min 20 sec. I am currently searching for the videos I learned it from so I can link it here.
